    The advertising reads German X46Cr13 steel and that sounds exotic until you read the Country of Origin. China. Germany must have sent a load of steel to China for this product. Interesting.Despite that fact, the knife appears to be a finely crafted example of design and construction. The balance is good, it feels good in the hand and the fit and finish are exquisite. This is an expertly made knife worthy of any kitchen.The metal is highly polished and it is a beauty. Very sharp too. This is a modestly sized knife in my large hands but I admire its beautiful look and feel. You should order one.
